“Dear Santa” is a deeply personal song that reflects my childhood Christmas memories growing up on a farm in Virginia. Life was simple, and while we didn’t have much, we were grateful to always have food on the table. Each Christmas Eve, my siblings and I would leave cookies out for Santa Claus before heading to bed, filled with the magic and wonder of the season. Those cherished traditions and heartfelt moments inspired me to write this song in 2017, weaving together the innocence of childhood with the timeless spirit of Christmas.
